ELLA MARIE CAVANAGH

Ella Cavanagh is a fashion designer who takes inspiration from Japanese street style, cosplay, and textile printmaking techniques. She graduated from Montclair State University in 2024 with a bachelor's in fashion design and merchandising, and a double minor in Visual Arts and Japanese. She has interned at Anna Sui in both the production and e-commerce/showroom departments, and worked for Mood Fabrics.​Her passion for visual arts has led to her experimenting with designing completely from the ground up, including hand dyeing fabric through techniques like Japanese shibori, and creating original prints through hand carved linocut block prints. She is very focused on sustainability and upcycling and incorporates it into everything she creates.​​​​​​
