Fall/Winter 2024/2025

Through the Dark was created as a test of flat pattern skills and fabric manipulation. The collection focuses on the use of lattice or American smocking and how it manipulates the way light and shadow appear on fabric. Smocking was done by hand on the bodice and the cape's hood. Pin tucks were also incorporated into the collection to create unique shadows through tacking the tucks down in opposite directions.

One of the four outfits was chosen to be fully realized and modeled in Montclair State University's Mass Appeal Fashion Show in Fall 2022.
